Rating: - * Works ok ... I bought this because my cat had a urinary tract infection and peed on our mattress. I poured the whole gallon on the spot, covered it with plastic for a day and then uncovered it and let it dry for several days. It took out most of the odor, but not all of it. Rating: - * Urine-Off is an excellent product! ... I have 2 rescue cats who continuously mark my home. I am very sensitive to smells and can't stand even a hint of pet odor. I have tried Urine Gone, Out Pet Stain and Odor Remover, multiple regular carpet cleaners, home remedies, and professional cleaning with no help. I was about to give up when I tried Urine-Off. After following the instructions, the odors were virtually eliminated! It also has a very pleasant fresh scent while it's working which I love! I recommend this product to everyone, especially those who are frustrated with problem cats! Rating: - * Really works ... This is the only product I have ever used that actually removes the odor of cat urine. It really does work. I have used it exclusively for 2 years now for a beloved cat that started misbehaving at age 13. Thanks to this product, I did not have to get rid of my cat. I recommend a heavy duty UV light source for finding sources of urine to go along with this product (not the little hand held tube ones commonly available at pet stores or sold with pet odor solutions). I purchased one also on Amazon: Streamlight Twin-Task 3C 9 Inch UV Flashlight, Black #51010. The only thing that could improve my quality of life above these 2 products is if my cat were to actually start behaving, so I don't have to resort to finding and cleaning up his mess!! Rating: - * GREAT product! ... I had tried MANY products for my male cats 'marking' problem, and had sporadic luck with them. But this product does really seem to take away the smell - which is what I ultimately wanted! There are times when I have to go back and put some more over the spot, but the smell does usually go away after that. I am very impressed with this product!! I can not, however, tell if it prevents him from marking on that spot again, because I have now had to resort to a wireless 'invisible fence' system in our house! Rating: - * excellent product, even better than kids-n-pets, worth the $$ ... I had tried kids-n-pets successfully in the past and it has worked very well. This time I had a large area of set in urine stains (sick older cat) and kids-n-pets just wasn't doing it. On humid days I would still smell urine. I purchased urine off in the gallon size, used a black light and literally poured it on to my carpet. I covered the offensive areas with plastic. I admit I used alot of the product. It took almost a week to dry. The odor was dramatically reduced. I choose to reapply again to be sure I had all of the odor eliminated. Again, I used alot of product, used plastic and it took about a week to dry. Now, the urine odor is completely gone! Even on the humid days! Kids-n-pets does work but I think urine off works better. (I also prefer the urine off smell, it's more like fabric softener) If you have a tough stain, urine off is worth the money. It will save your carpet!
